This policy explains what personal information KMB Telematics Inc. ("KMB", "we", "us") collects through this website, www.kmbradar.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. KMB is a Delaware corporation headquartered in Washington, DC, and is responsible for this information.
What we collect
You can browse this website without giving us your name or contact details. We collect the following when you submit one of our forms:
| Form | Information you provide | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Contact | Name, email address, subject, message | To respond to your inquiry |
| Brochure download | Name, email address and, if you choose, company, job title and phone number | To provide the brochure and keep a record of who requested it |
| Updates signup | Email address | To keep you on our list for KMB updates |
With each submission we also record your IP address, your browser's user agent (its type and version) and the date and time. We use these to protect our forms from spam and abuse and to keep them working properly.
We do not currently send regular updates. If we begin, each message will include a way to unsubscribe. You can ask us to remove your address at any time.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in a message. The login form on our Resources page is not active: anything entered there is not sent to us or stored.

We also send form submissions to Mattermost, an internal team chat that KMB operates, to alert our staff. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions are kept for up to 60 months and then deleted. This includes the related team chat notifications.
- Technical logs that we control are kept for up to 30 days.
We may keep information longer if the law requires it or if it is needed to resolve a dispute.
